Tottenham has initiated negotiations regarding the purchase of a key figure from Chelsea

Tottenham's leadership has commenced talks with their counterparts at Chelsea regarding the acquisition of midfielder Conor Gallagher. Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio shared this on social media platform X (previously known as Twitter).

According to the source, the Blues are willing to consider offers starting from €40 million.

Previously, it was reported that Manchester United and West Ham are also interested in securing the services of the English national team's defensive midfielder.

Gallagher, a product of Chelsea's academy, remains a pivotal player for the team this season, having appeared in 23 matches and providing four assists. His current agreement with Chelsea extends until June 2025, and the midfielder's valuation stands at around €40 million.

The midfielder has featured in 11 matches for the England national team, making his debut in 2021.

Tottenham currently holds the fifth position in the Premier League standings, while Chelsea sits in the 10th spot. Today, Mauricio Pochettino's team, featuring Gallagher, secured a hard-fought victory against Luton.
