Yesterday, Toni Kroos played his last match at Santiago Bernabéu. He has only one more game left in the Los Blancos jersey, the Champions League final. After participating in the European Championship this summer, he will retire from professional football. The Real Madrid legend announced this decision earlier this week.

Previously, it was reported that Kroos does not intend to leave Madrid and wishes to continue living there. Now, new information has emerged about his future plans.

According to Diario AS, the German plans to dedicate more time to his personal projects. One of these is his podcast, Einfachmal Luppen, which he records weekly with his brother Felix.

In addition, Toni Kroos plans to fully launch his "Toni Kroos Academy," which he registered in 2021 alongside projects like "KR8S" and "TK8." Currently, these projects operate solely online through a mobile app, but Kroos is planning to open a physical location at the Las Encinas club in Boadilla del Monte. These initiatives cover a wide range of sports-related goods and services, including the sale of jerseys, balls, boots, and other sports equipment.

Back in 2021, Kroos stated that he does not plan to pursue a career in coaching.

"I am not considering becoming a professional coach at the moment. I am more interested in something related to children, being able to help others. I don't enjoy traveling so much or staying in hotels for long periods."

Kroos clearly enjoys living in Madrid and will likely continue to follow Los Blancos and his former teammates closely even after retiring.
