For the first time in 27 years, the French men's biathlon team failed to win a single individual medal in the first four weeks of the World Cup, Nordicmag reports.

It has become known that for the first time since the 1996/1997 season, the French men's national team failed to win a single individual medal in the first four weeks of the World Cup. The best results for the French this season were two sixth-place finishes in the pursuit by Emilian Jacquelin (Hochfilzen stage) and Kentin Fillonmay (Lenzerheide).

In the 1996/1997 season, the Frenchman won his first medal at the 12th race of the season in Antogorka at the end of January. Raphaël Poirier won bronze in the sprint. It was the only medal for the Frenchman this season.

We would like to remind you that the men's mass start race took place in Lenzerheide, Switzerland. It should be noted right away that there were no surprises - the race was won by Johannes Tinnes Bøgh, who, with two misses, was almost 15 seconds ahead of his compatriot Johannes Dahle.

Тhird place went to another Norwegian and Johannes' older brother, Tarjei Bøgh. We would like to add that only one representative of the non-Norwegian team was in the top 6. It was the Swede, Martin Ponsiluoma, who crossed the finish line fourth.
