The legendary figure of German football, Joachim Löw, plied his trade for German and Swiss clubs before transitioning into coaching following the culmination of his playing career. He traversed coaching roles in Switzerland, Germany, Turkey, and Austria.

His greatest acclaim came from his tenure with the German national team. Löw took the reins of Die Mannschaft in 2006 after two years as an assistant. Under his stewardship, the national team clinched bronze at the 2010 FIFA World Cup and triumphed in the UEFA European Championships of 2012 and 2016. While reaching the final of Euro 2008, where they succumbed to Spain (0:1), the pinnacle arrived in 2014 when Germany lifted the World Cup trophy.

After seventeen years with the national team, on March 9, 2021, Joachim Löw announced his departure from the squad in the summer, despite having an existing contract.

Since then, the German maestro has remained without a job, and following Thomas Tuchel's announcement of his departure from Bayern Munich at the end of the season, speculation arose regarding Löw's potential appointment as the head coach of the country's champions.

However, during an interview with Bild, Löw refuted these rumors, stating his lack of desire to work in Germany.

"Bayern is probably not interested in me as a coach. And the Munich-based Bayern would not interest me either.

I have been the national team coach here in Germany for long enough and have always said that the coaching position here in Germany is out of the question for me because I have traveled this country for seventeen years. I have been to all kinds of stadiums and know them. Of course, the clubs here are also very good. But for me, that is not motivating."

While Löw may rule out a stint in Germany, numerous top clubs across Europe will find themselves without a coach at the end of the season for various reasons, including Barcelona and Liverpool.
