The finalists of the ATP1000 tournament in Rome have been determined
On Friday, May 17th, two semifinal matches of the ATP1000 tournament in Rome took place. Chilean Nicolás Jarry played against Tommy Paul.
In the first set, the Chilean tennis player took the lead from the first game and maintained it, winning 6-3. The second set was much more intense and suspenseful, reaching a tie-break where Tommy Paul prevailed 7-3. In the decisive third set, the situation mirrored the first, with Jarry seizing the advantage and securing the match victory, 2-1.
It is worth noting that Alexander Zverev defeated Tabilo 2-1 in the first semifinal, thus becoming the first finalist of the ATP1000 tennis tournament in Rome.
Thus, the final pair has been determined - Alexander Zverev will face Nicolás Jarry. The final will take place on Sunday, May 19th.
