Real Madrid veteran Luka Modrić wishes to extend his contract with Los Blancos, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Croatian footballer is indifferent to his salary and has already informed Real Madrid of his intentions. Modrić has rejected two lucrative offers from other clubs and is now awaiting the decision from Los Blancos.

It is worth noting that Real Madrid's head coach, Carlo Ancelotti, has made decisions regarding two of the club's legends: Luka Modrić and Toni Kroos. The Italian coach relies on both central midfielders and wants the club to extend their contracts, which expire in June.

This season, Modrić has played in 43 matches, scoring 2 goals and providing 8 assists. Kroos has recorded 1 goal and 9 assists in 46 matches.

Additionally, Real Madrid secured the La Liga title with four games remaining in the season. In the Champions League final on June 1st, Ancelotti's team will face Borussia Dortmund.
