Ancelotti wants two Real Madrid legends to stay at the club


Real Madrid's head coach, Carlo Ancelotti, has made a decision regarding two of the club's legends: Luka Modric and Toni Kroos.
According to The Athletic, the Italian coach relies on both central midfielders. He desires the club to extend their contracts, which are set to expire in June.
Ancelotti is pleased with Kroos and Modric's performances this season. He also highly values the contribution they make to the development of the team's young players. Their behavior and mentality serve as a model for all other Real Madrid players.
It was previously reported that Modric is even willing to accept a salary reduction and a substitute role to extend his contract with the club.
This season, Modric has appeared in 43 matches, scoring 2 goals and providing 8 assists. Kroos has 1 goal and 9 assists in 46 matches.
Let us recall that Real Madrid secured the La Liga title with four rounds remaining in the season. In the Champions League final on June 1st, Ancelotti's team will face Borussia Dortmund.
