Staggering price! Pelé's 1958 World Cup final shirt sells at auction

Details: According to auction house Sotheby's, the shirt worn by Pelé in the 1958 FIFA World Cup final has been sold for more than €4 million. The winning bid reached €4.3 million.
At just 17 years of age, Pelé scored two of Brazil's five goals in a 5-2 victory over hosts Sweden in the final, after also helping Seleção defeat France by the same scoreline in the semi-finals.
Meanwhile, the 2026 FIFA World Cup final between Argentina and Spain will take place on Sunday, July 19, with kick-off scheduled for 21:00 CET.
Following their victory over England, Argentina's players displayed a banner reading, "The Malvinas Islands are Argentina." As a result, they could face sanctions from FIFA.
