Eintracht fans once again tried to overrun Camp Nou with their crafty maneuvers.

Details: Before yesterday’s Champions League clash between Barcelona and Germany’s Eintracht, the Barcelona management and Camp Nou security staff had to put in a serious effort to avoid a repeat of April 14, 2022, when Eintracht supporters virtually “occupied” Camp Nou during a Europa League fixture.

As a safety measure, all jerseys and other fan clothing were checked at the entrance, since Eintracht supporters had previously disguised themselves in Barcelona shirts, allowing them to exceed the away ticket quota and create a significant advantage at the visitors’ stadium.

Initially, Barcelona allocated 2,400 seats for Eintracht fans, but after yesterday’s thorough checks and enhanced security, it became clear that the German fans had planned to far exceed this number through deceptive tactics, just as they managed to do back in 2022.

Nevertheless, the German supporters still made their presence felt: they threw flares and other objects at Barcelona fans and even broke part of the protective barrier.

However, none of these provocations helped Eintracht achieve the result they wanted—their team fell short, losing 2-1.

Reminder: Jules Koundé becomes the first Barcelona player to score two headed goals in a single Champions League match
