Cleveland Cavaliers star Donovan Mitchell has agreed to a new contract with the team, reports ESPN.

According to the source, the new agreement for the All-Star guard is for three years, worth $150.3 million. The contract also includes a player option for the 2027/28 season.

Mitchell and his agent, Austin Brown, co-head of CAA Basketball, met with Cleveland's President of Basketball Operations, Koby Altman, on Saturday in Los Angeles, where they reached an agreement to continue their collaboration.

The 27-year-old Mitchell has been with the Cavaliers since 2022. This season, he played 10 NBA playoff games, averaging 29.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game.

Mitchell is the first guard to average at least 20 points in each of his first seven NBA seasons since Allen Iverson. Last year, he also set career highs in assists (6.1) and steals (1.8), ranking third in steals per game and sixth in deflections in the league.
