Ryan Reynolds criticized for team's flight, deemed an environmental hazard

Wrexham owner Ryan Reynolds has faced criticism from environmental advocates after his club's players took a flight for an away match in the English Football League One. Representatives from the group Fossil Free Football commented on the matter.
The flight for Wrexham's match against Wycombe reportedly lasted only 37 minutes from Jersey Airport to Hawarden, and then to Oxford. After the match, the team traveled to Wales, and the plane flew without passengers. This greatly angered eco-activists.
"Football at all levels is threatened by increased rainfall and flooding linked to fossil fuel emissions. There is no place for short, polluting flights. Experts say such flights are 25-30 times more harmful to the environment than bus journeys," said Peter Crisp, a representative for Fossil Free Football.
It is worth noting that representatives of Reynolds and Wrexham traveled to New York to express their support for the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. In a LinkedIn statement, the club emphasized its commitment to the "Football for Goals" initiative.
