Welsh football is mourning a tremendous loss.
Details: Leeds United icon, Wales national team hero, and stalwart of several other clubs, Terry Yorath, has passed away at the age of 75.
Yorath earned 59 caps for the Welsh national team between 1969 and 1981, scoring twice. He was also a pivotal member of the highly successful Leeds United side of the 1970s, capturing the English league title in 1974 and becoming part of the first Welsh team to reach a European Cup final in 1975.
As a manager, Yorath inspired Wales to famous victories over giants like Germany and Brazil, while his spells with Swansea and Bradford City further cemented his legacy as one of the most influential figures in the history of Welsh football.
The cause of death has not yet been reported.
