Raphaël Varane joined the board of directors of the club where he ended his career in September

Former defender Raphaël Varane has been appointed to the board of directors of the club Como, as announced by the team in an official statement on Saturday.
Details: Rumors that Varane might stay with Como in a different role have been confirmed, and the club has now announced that the Frenchman will focus on “youth development, education, and product innovation.”
Reminder: Varane's appointment is part of a long-term strategy aimed at strengthening the club's reputation in Italian football. Como’s Indonesian owners previously brought in former Arsenal star Cesc Fàbregas as a player and later made him the head coach of the first team.
