The five-time Ballon d'Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo, remains brimming with vigor and vitality despite his advancing years. No one managed to surpass the 38-year-old Portuguese in the previous year in terms of goals scored, a remarkable 54 strikes for Al-Nassr.

Previously, Ronaldo envisioned playing until he turns 40, provided he avoids serious injuries and sees no cause to contemplate the conclusion of his illustrious career. Diligently, he dedicates himself to maintaining an impeccable physical condition.

Against this backdrop, Roberto Martinez, the head coach of Portugal's national team, asserted that he perceives no grounds for Ronaldo to even consider hanging up his boots. Speaking to The Times regarding Ronaldo's potential retirement from football, Martinez conveyed:

"Cristiano will conclude his career the day he realizes his body cannot offer him what he desires on the field. Presently, his hunger to conquer all trophies endures. There exists no other 38-year-old footballer capable of delivering the physical prowess he demonstrates, playing two matches on the international stage in three days."

It is anticipated that Ronaldo will partake in Euro 2024 while continuing to represent his national side in the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
