The leader of Chelsea has been awarded the prestigious Premier League accolade

Midfielder Cole Palmer of Chelsea has been honored with the prestigious Premier League award for the 2023/24 season.
The footballer was recognized as the best young player of the English championship for the outgoing season. The midfielder for the "Blues" received the award at Stamford Bridge before the match of the 38th round against Bournemouth.
It's worth recalling that Palmer joined Chelsea in the summer of 2023 from Manchester City. The Pensioners paid €47 million for the player.
In his debut season for the "Pensioners" in the Premier League, the midfielder scored 22 goals and provided 10 assists. In the league's top scorers list, the Englishman ranks second after Erling Haaland.
Interestingly, Palmer became only the third player in Chelsea's history to score 20+ goals and provide 10+ assists in a single Premier League season, following in the footsteps of legends Frank Lampard (22 goals, 14 assists) and Didier Drogba (29 goals, 14 assists) in the 2009/10 campaign.
