Thousands of Liverpool fans greeted the team bus with flares to bid farewell to Jürgen Klopp on his last day as the Reds' manager. The German will leave Liverpool after the match against Wolverhampton on Sunday at Anfield, ending a nine-year tenure, and the supporters came out in force to give him a proper send-off.

More than an hour before the match, thousands of people had already gathered outside Anfield as the team bus made its way through the crowd. Fans, in a celebratory mood on this day full of mixed emotions, set off flares. The crowd waved scarves and flags, with applause rippling through the sea of red shirts, welcoming the team bus and the German manager inside.

It is expected that even more people will take to the streets of the city after the match to pay tribute to their beloved coach. Interestingly, the name "Jürgen" appeared on the Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand.
