One of Serie A’s most distinctive clubs has taken the bold step of a dramatic rebranding.
Details: Atalanta has officially unveiled a new logo, replacing the emblem that faithfully represented the club for the past thirty years. The management has opted for ultra-modern minimalism: the familiar oval has turned into a precise circle, and all text and numbers have been completely removed from the badge.
The Bergamo-based club wasted no time in explaining the move, providing a detailed breakdown of the new style’s philosophy on its official website. Atalanta’s executives emphasized that the Goddess remains at the heart of the updated brand—a silhouette that first adorned the team’s kit back in the 1960s.
Every detail of the new logo is loaded with hidden meanings, linking the club to its roots. For example, the flowing hair of the Goddess is now divided into exactly five strands—a deliberate nod to the five founding fathers who created Atalanta. The silhouette itself now sits on a solid blue background encircled by a perfect black ring.
Reminder: Manchester United are close to signing Atalanta midfielder Ederson.
