The €100 million outcast! Mudryk 100% leaving Chelsea on loan as Leeds get rejected
Mykhaylo Mudryk's Chelsea exile is ending, just not at Stamford Bridge.
Details: Fabrizio Romano reports that Mykhaylo Mudryk is 100% expected to leave Chelsea on loan. Leeds United are pushing, but the Blues have rejected their opening bid for a straight loan. Chelsea are open to sending the winger to Strasbourg, while the player himself is keen on a Premier League move.

It is a remarkable crossroads for a player who only returned to football three weeks ago: Mudryk was cleared on July 31 after his four-year doping ban for meldonium was resolved following a successful CAS appeal, ending a nightmare that had kept him out since November 2024. Now Chelsea want him playing regularly, with Brentford and Coventry also lurking, but the club would rather see him rebuild at sister club Strasbourg.
Chelsea paid Shakhtar €70 million plus €30 million in add-ons for the Ukrainian in January 2023, and he has managed just 10 goals in 73 appearances since. It's worth noting that Mudryk is under contract until 2031, so this loan is less about saying goodbye and more about saving a career that once cost a fortune.
Reminder: A major defensive reinforcement! Chelsea defender set to continue his career in Serie A.
