In the forthcoming days, there is a scheduled meeting between Real Madrid's president, Florentino Pérez, and the coach of "Los Blancos," Carlo Ancelotti. This meeting will revolve around discussions about the Italian specialist's future with the team. According to reports from Marca, Ancelotti is leaning more towards signing a new contract rather than moving to another club.

The leadership of the club from Madrid is currently not contemplating a change in coaches, as they are quite content with the work of the Italian. Additionally, Ancelotti himself isn't considering any other club, expressing his desire to remain in Madrid. It's worth noting that previous reports indicated Ancelotti had signed a contract with the Brazilian national team and would depart from Real at the end of the current season, but evidently, things seem less definitive at this point.

Carlo Ancelotti is in his second stint at the helm of Real Madrid, having returned to the team in 2021, succeeding Zinedine Zidane as the head coach. In his first season back, he led the team to victory in La Liga and the Champions League.

In the current season, "Los Blancos" are trailing Girona by two points, securing the second spot in the Spanish championship. The team from Madrid had spent an excellent group stage, winning all matches and advancing to the Round of 16, in the Champions League. They will discover their upcoming opponent in the playoff series on Monday, December 18th.
