In yesterday's bout for the IBF world heavyweight title, Anthony Joshua was knocked out by Daniel Dubois.

Despite the loss, the former champion declared that he has no plans to retire, affirming that he is a "true warrior."

Details: Joshua was knocked out in the fifth round after being sent to the canvas three times, yet each time he returned to the fight.

After the match, the British boxer was in good spirits and stated during the press conference that retirement is not on his mind.

Quote: "I always keep my head held high. We tried to achieve success, but unfortunately, we failed. We took a risk and wrote a chapter in British boxing history. Of course, I want to keep fighting. I am a true warrior."

Joshua also praised Dubois for a solid performance and acknowledged his team for their preparation:

"Hats off to Dan. We have to give him credit.

I also want to thank my team. There were mistakes, but that's the essence of the game. At the elite level, even a small mistake can cost you victory."

Reminder: This defeat marks Joshua's fourth career loss. He previously lost to Andy Ruiz in 2019 but avenged that defeat later the same year. In 2021 and 2022, he was defeated by Oleksandr Usyk.
