Gold Cup 2025 Groups Revealed Following Official Draw in Miami

CONCACAF officially revealed the group stage matchups for the 2025 Gold Cup during a draw held in Miami on Thursday, as announced on the Confederation’s official website. The tournament will take place from June 14 to July 6 across 14 stadiums in the U.S. and Canada, including five venues that will also host matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The 16-team field includes 15 Concacaf nations qualified through the Nations League and prelims, plus guest team Saudi Arabia.
The draw, overseen by Director of Competitions Carlos Fernández, featured appearances from former Gold Cup champions Jorge Campos, Dwayne De Rosario, Marcelo Balboa, and Blas Pérez. The resulting groups are:
- Group A: Mexico, Costa Rica, Suriname, Dominican Republic
- Group B: Canada, Honduras, El Salvador, Curaçao
- Group C: Panama, Jamaica, Guatemala, Guadeloupe
- Group D: United States, Haiti, Trinidad & Tobago, Saudi Arabia
Group stage matches will run from June 14 to 24. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage, with the quarterfinal matchups set as 1D vs 2A, 1A vs 2D, 1C vs 2B, and 1B vs 2C. The semifinals will take place on July 2, followed by the final on July 6 at NRG Stadium in Houston.
The tournament will kick off with Mexico playing the opening match at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Tickets are already available at GoldCup.org, and the full match schedule will be announced on April 11.
CONCACAF also introduced the tournament’s new official ball, the Molten Gold Vantaggio 5000, designed to reflect the region’s passion and unity. In addition, global music star Luis Fonsi was unveiled as the performer of the official song “Tocando el Cielo,” created in partnership with Universal Music Latino.
