Another trophy for Kane! Bayern win the German Supercup for the 12th time in history
Bayern have secured the German Supercup, confidently defeating Borussia Dortmund 2-1. The Munich giants clinched the trophy for the second year in a row, once again cementing their status as the dominant force in German football.
The scoring was opened by Bayern's new signing, Braun, whose goal was especially significant—he found the net in his very first official match for the club. Before halftime, Michael Olise doubled Bayern's advantage, while the "Black and Yellows" responded after the break with a goal from Fabio Silva.
This triumph marks Bayern's 12th German Supercup title in club history—an all-time tournament record. Moreover, the Munich side have now lifted this prestigious trophy two years running. Last season, they beat Stuttgart 2-1 to claim the silverware.
Special mention goes to Harry Kane. For the English striker, this is the fifth trophy of his career. Before joining Bayern, Kane had not won a single team title despite many years at Tottenham. Since arriving in Munich, he has twice won the Bundesliga, lifted the German Cup, and now has two German Supercup medals to his name.
