Shooting Stars Sports Club have issued an official statement following the unrest caused by supporters calling for the dismissal of head coach Salisu Yusuf after the club’s goalless draw against Kano Pillars.

In its statement, the club acknowledged the disappointment surrounding its results, admitting that the current start to the season has fallen short of expectations.

However, the management stressed that it would not tolerate violence, threats, intimidation or verbal and physical abuse directed at club officials, coaches, technical staff, players or any member of the Shooting Stars family.
