Gianluigi Donnarumma has produced a moment he will certainly want to forget.

Details: Manchester City surrendered their lead in the Champions League clash against RB Leipzig following a controversial goalkeeping moment. In the 49th minute, Ridle Baku struck from a very tight angle, and Donnarumma failed to keep the ball out of his net. The goal, assisted by Brajan Gruda, brought the German side level at 1-1.

The episode immediately sparked criticism on social media. The Touchline questioned how a goalkeeper of Donnarumma's calibre could concede from such a difficult shooting position, describing the incident as another costly mistake by the Italian.

The goal came just minutes after the restart, wiping out Manchester City's first-half advantage. The English side had taken the lead in the 37th minute when Leipzig defender Castello Lukeba accidentally turned Nico O'Reilly's delivery into his own net.

However, Leipzig responded almost immediately after the break. Baku's equaliser brought the home crowd back to life and left Donnarumma facing uncomfortable questions about his positioning and reaction to the shot.

It is worth noting that Manchester City entered this fourth-round Champions League fixture with six points from three matches, having recorded two victories and one defeat. RB Leipzig, meanwhile, had collected just three points from their opening three European games.

Reminder: Interest from Spain! Enzo Fernandez could leave Manchester City
