Real Madrid have added Manchester City midfielder Enzo Fernandez to their list of long-term targets for 2027.

Details: According to insider Ekrem Konur, the Spanish giants are exploring options to strengthen their midfield in future transfer windows, viewing the 25-year-old Argentine as one of their leading candidates.

Besides Los Blancos, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are also interested in the midfielder. However, a potential transfer would require a huge investment: Fernandez's market value is estimated at around €120 million, while his current contract with the Cityzens runs until the summer of 2031.

Fernandez's long-term deal with Manchester City gives the English club a strong negotiating position, meaning the Spanish giants will have to plan their strategy well in advance. For now, Real Madrid are merely monitoring the situation surrounding the player and are not making any hasty moves in the transfer market. However, everything could change if Manchester City receive serious sanctions for financial irregularities.

In the 2026/27 season, Fernandez has made 12 appearances for City in all competitions, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
