African countries had different outcomes during the November international games, which affected their FIFA rankings.

Morocco did really well, winning big against Gabon (5-1) and Lesotho (7-0). However, they will move down to 11th place worldwide because Uruguay is moving up. Algeria had a tie with Equatorial Guinea and a strong win against Liberia (5-1), keeping them in 37th place globally and 4th in Africa.

Egypt managed two 1-1 draws against Cape Verde and Botswana, slipping to 33rd globally and 6th in Africa. Tunisia, after defeating Madagascar 3-1, fell 0-1 to Gambia, causing a drop to 53rd globally and 9th in Africa.

On the positive side, Libya’s win saw them move up seven places to 115th globally, while Comoros and Mauritania moved up five places to 103rd and 109th respectively.

As African nations prepare for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, these performances highlight their different fortunes.
