Czechia - Turkey. Predicted line-ups and latest news, – June 26, 2024

One of the final matches of the group stage of UEFA Euro 2024 will be the meeting between the Czechia and Turkey.
Of the three teams in the group, which have not yet guaranteed themselves a play-off spot, Vincenzo Montella's men have the best chance of making it, having beaten Georgia 3-1 in the first leg.
Even despite losing to Portugal in their next match, the Turks are second in the group and need only a draw with Czechia to retain their group exit.
Ivan Hasek's team will not be satisfied with such a result. Yes, they are now in third place, but with two points they will not get out, because in the standings of the teams that are in third place, the last passing place has the national team of Hungary with three points.
Therefore, a win in the match will give the Czechs four points in the group and second place, but on the condition that Georgia will not beat Portugal.
If we talk about personnel problems, the Turkish national team will definitely not play Abdulkerim Bardakci, who was yellow-carded in the previous two matches. There are also questions about Mert Gunok, who missed the game against Portugal.
His replacement Altay Bayndir did not play well in that match, so Montella hopes that Gunok will recover for the important match. Samet Akaydin also has back problems, while Orkyun Kokcu has a knee problem.
In the Czech team, there are only questions about Patrik Schick, who injured his calf muscle. Elsewhere, though, Hašek will be able to count on a full squad, including Tomáš Hols, David Jurášek and Lukáš Provod, who are all at risk of suspension.
With these factors in mind, the Dailysports team has prepared predicted line-ups for the Czechia vs Turkey match.
