Brentford has dropped the price for its top asset by more than £30 million

It seems that Brentford have realised that they will not be able to sell their striker Ivan Toney for cheap, so they have significantly reduced their financial appetite.
As The Sun reports, amid the lack of interest in the 28-year-old forward, the Hornets have significantly dropped the price for him. Back in the winter for the player the club asked from 80 to 100 million pounds, now any applicant for the forward will be enough to make an offer of 50 million pounds.
Despite this, there are still few suitors for Toney. Arsenal are not targeting signing the striker this summer, Chelsea believe Toney is too old and United have signed Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna.
Much smaller calibre clubs Tottenham and West Ham remain in the race for the 28-year-old forward.
