The Czech star survived an incredible comeback from Karolina Muchova to claim her maiden Grand Slam title!

Details: In an all-Czech final, the 21-year-old tennis player overcame Karolina Muchova 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 to become a Grand Slam champion for the first time in her career.

It looked like Noskova would close out the match in straight sets: in the second set, she was up 5-2 and held five championship points. But Muchova pulled off a stunning comeback, winning five games in a row to force a deciding set.

Despite that painful collapse, the young Czech managed to regroup completely. In the third set, Noskova seized the initiative again and powered through a dramatic match to secure the biggest victory of her career.

The new champion’s run through the draw is especially impressive. Back in the third round against Sorana Cirstea, she saved a match point—and from that moment on, she didn’t drop another set until she was leading 6-2, 5-2 in the final.

It’s worth noting that the Noskova-Muchova clash marked the first-ever Grand Slam final between two Czech women.

Reminder: History rewritten! Djokovic survives five-set battle and enters Wimbledon record books.
