Another injury to a key Manchester United player

Yesterday, another Manchester United player suffered an injury. This time, goalkeeper André Onana, representing the Cameroon national team in a World Cup 2026 qualifier against Mauritius, ended up in the infirmary.
During the match, Onana felt discomfort and requested a substitution. He was replaced by Fabrice Ondoa in the 81st minute, limping off the field, leaving the Manchester United player sidelined.
Should the injury prove severe, it could pose a significant challenge for United's coach, Erik ten Hag, considering the extensive list of fitness issues plaguing the Red Devils. Forward Rasmus Hojlund and Christian Eriksen had to withdraw from the national team due to injuries. Meanwhile, defenders Johnny Evans, Lisandro Martínez, and Tyrell Malasia have been ruled out, and midfielder Casemiro won't be able to aid the team until January.
The match between Cameroon and Mauritius ended in a 3-0 victory for the Cameroonians. It marked the first World Cup 2026 qualifier in Group D, propelling Cameroon to the top of the table, while Mauritius currently occupies the bottom spot.
