In the German Cup clash against Kaiserslautern, which the Berlin side won emphatically 6-1, the young footballer was named man of the match. On top of that, he etched his name into the tournament's history books with his goal.
Details: Eichhorn became the youngest ever goalscorer in the history of the German Cup, setting a unique record. He found the net at just 16 years and 128 days old, surpassing the previous milestone set by Jude Bellingham, who had scored at 17 years and 77 days.
This goal was the first of Kennet's professional career.
