Just look what Osnabrück fans pulled off against Bayern! VIDEO
Osnabrück supporters turned their stand into a real amusement park.
Details: Before the DFB-Pokal first-round clash with Bayern Munich at the Bremer Brücke, the home supporters unveiled one of the most unusual choreographies seen in German football. The fans created a roller-coaster installation in front of their stand, complete with rails and a large moving cart that travelled along the track. Masked ultra mannequins were placed inside the wagon, making the whole construction look like a functioning fairground attraction.
The display was built around the slogan VfL Osnabrück goes off like a roller coaster and referred to the many ups and downs in the club's history. The moving wagon crossed the front of the stand while thousands of supporters held up the rest of the purple-and-white choreography.
The spectacular scene immediately attracted attention online, while even Bayern supporters praised the creativity of the home end. The choreography became one of the defining images of the cup night before the teams had even kicked a ball.
It is worth noting that Osnabrück also gave the favourites a scare on the pitch. Robin Meißner opened the scoring in the fifth minute, but Bayern eventually won 4-1. Harry Kane scored twice, while Tom Bischof and Michael Olise also found the net for the Munich side.
