The fight for the title of absolute world champion in the heavyweight division took place in Saudi Arabia. Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk defeated British Tyson Fury by split decision of judges and became the holder of the WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO belts.

After the fight right in the ring, both boxers promised that they will enter the ring again in a face-to-face fight.

"I have a rematch," Fury said, "We'll spend time with my family and we'll do it again in October.

The same question about a rematch to Oleksandr Usyk seems to have caught the Ukrainian boxer off guard. However, he also confirmed that he is ready to defend his titles in a fight against Fury.

"Yes, of course. I am ready at any time for a rematch," said Usyk in the ring.

Also confirmed the information that we are waiting for the fight Usyk - Fury 2 promoter Frank Warren.

"Yes, there will be a rematch. If Tyson wants a rematch, we will hold it," the promoter replied.

Details of the possible matchup are still unknown. However, even before the first meeting between Usyk and Fury in the ring, there was information that the rematch could take place in October. The same information was confirmed by Fury in his comments, hinting that he will prepare for the fight in October.

It is not excluded that the organisers will postpone the fight for a month or two. It will depend on the boxers: how much time they will need to rest and to prepare for the megafight.
