Djokovic spent 4.5 hours winning a ticket to the fourth round of Roland Garros against the 30th rack
Last night, the participants for the men's tournament at Roland Garros were finalized. The last match of the third round featured the world number one, Novak Djokovic, against Italy's Lorenzo Musetti, ranked 30th in the ATP.
The match lasted four and a half hours. The first two sets ended in tiebreaks, with each player taking one set. Djokovic unexpectedly lost the third set 2-6, but he bounced back to claim the fourth set 6-3.
The players entered the final set around 3:00 AM local time. By then, the stands had significantly emptied, and the athletes were exhausting their last reserves of energy. This likely played to the advantage of the world number one, who calmly and confidently defeated his opponent 6-0.
