In the fifth and sixth rounds, Fury seized the initiative and with each passing minute began to deliver more and more accurate and powerful punches to Usyk. In addition, Tyson periodically "fell" on his opponent, forcing Alexander to be under the weight of the Briton's entire body.

However, in the seventh "period" the Ukrainian showed with his boxing that he had recovered and began to respond with accurate punches. Fury still had a powerful punch, but he did not keep a comfortable distance. As a result - in the ninth round, Usyk knocked his opponent down.

In the last rounds, Oleksandr was more active, but again he was unable to knockdown or even knockdown his more dimensional opponent. The decision on the winner of the match fell to the judges, who decided that Oleksandr Usyk won on points by split decision - 112:115, 114:113 and 113:114.

This defeat was the first in the career of Tyson Fury: the Briton had 35 fights, 32 of which he won, 1 lost and 1 ended in a draw. Oleksandr Usyk remains unbeaten: he has 22 victories in 22 fights.
