Fascinating names indeed. Who will take over Burnley after Kompany's departure?

Vincent Kompany first led Burnley into the Premier League but couldn't keep the team in the top flight. At the end of the season, the Belgian left the team to work at Bayern Munich.

According to The Times, Burnley is considering several candidates to replace Kompany. Their shortlist includes Frank Lampard, Scott Parker, and Craig Bellamy. The latter has been serving as the interim head coach after Vincent Kompany's departure, assisting him throughout the season.

Lampard has been without a job since May 2023 when he temporarily coached Chelsea while the club searched for a replacement for the dismissed Graham Potter. Parker's last club was Brugge, from which he was dismissed in March 2023.

It's worth noting that Burnley were relegated to the Championship at the end of the season. The new coach will face the task of returning the team to the Premier League.
