The Los Angeles Lakers played a regular-season game against Phoenix. The game took place overnight on Monday, February 26th.

The California team suffered a defeat with a score of 113:123. However, this wasn't the only disappointment in this game. In this match, the Lakers accumulated eight penalties – the highest tally since 2018, when LeBron joined the team. Furthermore, overall, the Lakers' players only managed to convert four shots from the line. Phoenix, on the other hand, earned 19 penalties and converted 18.

It's worth recalling that the Golden State Warriors reportedly sought to trade Lakers' leader LeBron James, but he declined such an option. It has been reported that the Warriors attempted to capitalize on the player's dissatisfaction, but LeBron James immediately rejected the proposal.

However, as reported, Golden State will continue negotiations with LeBron in the summer and currently aim to strengthen the forward position with another star player.
