Milan wonderkid Francesco Camarda has set yet another age-related record.

Currently, the 16-year-old forward is playing for Italy U-19 at the European Championship in Northern Ireland. Today, Italy played against the tournament hosts and secured a 3-0 victory, with Camarda scoring a brace.

With these goals, Camarda became the youngest goal-scorer in the history of the U-19 European Championships at 16 years, 4 months, and 8 days old. The previous record-holder was Liechtenstein midfielder Martin Büchel, who scored in 2003 at 16 years, 5 months, and 1 day. The third place is held by another Milan forward, Luka Jović, who scored at 16 years, 6 months, and 29 days.

Thanks to the victory over Northern Ireland, Italy has guaranteed themselves a spot in the semifinals from the first place in their group. The final group match against Ukraine will not affect their tournament standing.

Last season, Camarda also became the youngest player in Serie A history, making his debut at 15 years, 8 months, and 15 days.
