The Indomitable Lions’ training camp is starting to fill up in Yaoundé

Samuel Junior Kotto and Kévin Keben were the first to arrive at the training base on Sunday 20 September.

The two defenders were then joined by several other players called up by David Pagou. Lilian Paul René Njoh, Emmanuel Moungam A Ngon, Blondy Noukeu, Ryan Fosso, Harouna Djibirin and Angel Yondjo have in turn joined the squad.

Mahamadou Nagida, Arthur Avom, Simon Ngapandouentbu, Junior Tchamadeu, Ivan Cédric Bikoue Embolo and Maël Fernandez Monyebe have also arrived at the training camp. In total, 14 of the 26 players called up by David Pagou are now in Yaoundé.

The players in Yaoundé will take part in their first training sessions on Monday 21 September whilst awaiting the arrival of the rest of the squad. As soon as David Pagou’s squad is complete, they will head to Garoua, where the Indomitable Lions will host the Comoros on 24 September in the opening match of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
