Legendary. The 35-year-old judoka has won his third individual gold at the Olympics


At the 2024 Olympics, the men's judo final in the over 100 kg weight category took place.
The gold medal was claimed by the legendary French judoka Teddy Riner, now 35 years old. This marks his third individual gold at the Olympic Games and his fourth overall. In the final, he triumphed over South Korea's Kim Min-jong, who holds the top spot in the individual rankings. Bronze medals were awarded to Tajikistan's Temur Rakhimov and Uzbekistan's Alisher Yusupov.
Additionally, Greek swimmer Apostolos Christou secured a silver medal in the 200-meter backstroke, forever etching his name in his country's sports history.
Christou became the first Greek athlete to win an Olympic medal in swimming since the inaugural Olympic Games held in Athens in 1896.
