James Kwasi Appiah, the coach of Sudan's national team, has said he might consider coaching Ghana's national team again in the future. But he made it clear that money would not be the reason for his decision, even if someone offered him $1 million every week.
Appiah explained during an interview with the BKB Show that his attention is still on his current position with Sudan, whom he recently led to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco, defeating Ghana along the way.
“Maybe as a coach, I shouldn’t be thinking about coaching the Black Stars again,” he said.“But at this stage in my life, money doesn’t matter to me. I do things because I want to, not because of how much I’m offered. It’s not about the $1 million every week.”
Appiah's coaching prowess has been shown by his excellent qualifying campaign with Sudan, a nation dealing with serious difficulties. His remarks raise the possibility of a future reunion with the Black Stars, even though he is still fully dedicated to Sudan for the time being.
