Hervé Renard will soon reveal the Ivory Coast Elephants’ squad for the upcoming international break

Back at the helm of the Ivory Coast Elephants’ coaching staff, the French tactician will announce the names of the players called up for the next FIFA international window in a week’s time.

This will take place at a press conference scheduled for Wednesday 16 September in Abidjan. The French manager will announce the names of the players selected for the first two matchdays of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers and the friendly against Cameroon on 3 October.

This eagerly awaited first squad selection will reveal the choices made by the Frenchman since he took charge of the Elephants last August. Ivory Coast are preparing for their qualifying campaign for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.

Drawn in Group C, the Elephants will kick off their qualifying campaign at home against Ghana. The clash is scheduled for 24 September as part of the matchday 1.

Following this fixture, Ivory Coast will travel to Somalia for the matchday 2 of the qualifiers. The match is scheduled for 29 September.
