2027 AFCON Qualifiers: Where to watch the Ivory Coast v Ghana clash?

The Elephants and the Black Stars kick off their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign this Thursday.

The opening match between the two teams, who are in Group C, will take place on 24 September at the Stade de la Paix in Bouaké, Ivory Coast. This West African derby pits two giants of African football against each other.

Ivory Coast and Ghana are well-established on the African and international stage. Both teams took part this summer in the FIFA World Cup held in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

This Thursday at the Stade de la Paix in Bouaké, the Elephants and the Black Stars will not be meeting for the first time. The two neighbours have faced each other on several occasions throughout history.
