A scandalous kiss. Spanish women's footballer, Hermoso, will testify in court

Spanish national team player, Jennifer Hermoso, will testify in court in the case of the scandal involving the kiss of the former head of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), Luis Rubiales.

According to the press service of the National Judicial College of Spain, the trial will take place on November 28.

As you know, the scandalous episode occurred on August 20 during the awards ceremony after the final match of the World Cup. The Spanish team beat their English opponents 1-0 and during the ceremony, Rubiales, who presented the medals, kissed the Spanish player on the lips.

After this, the official was temporarily suspended from office, and Hermoso herself wrote a statement to the prosecutor's office. There she began a criminal case against Rubiales.

In September, the official announced that he was leaving his position. He also testified in court, but in the role of a suspect. Then the court forbade Rubiales to approach the athlete at a distance closer than 200 meters. In addition, he was prohibited from having any contact with the football player until the case was closed.
