Mbappe's brother is one step away from a move to an established Ligue 1 club

Ethan Mbappé, the younger brother of the famous Kylian Mbappé, is on the verge of joining French club Lille, as reported by well-known football insider Fabrizio Romano.

Ethan Mbappé is currently undergoing a medical examination for Lille. If successful, the 17-year-old midfielder is expected to sign a long-term contract as a new player for the 'Dogues'.

The younger Mbappé became a free agent after leaving PSG along with his star brother.

Spanish media previously reported that Étienne would join Madrid alongside Kylian. However, the midfielder decided not to follow his older brother to Real.

Last season, Ethan played 11 matches for PSG's first team but did not register any goals or assists.
