Legendary former AC Milan and Italy forward Filippo Inzaghi has resumed his coaching career.
The 50-year-old Italian specialist has taken over Pisa, a team competing in Serie B (Italy's second division). Inzaghi's contract with the Pisa club is set for two seasons, running until the summer of 2026.
Filippo Inzaghi's previous coaching role was with Salernitana, where he worked from October 2023 until February 2024, before being dismissed due to unsatisfactory results.
In the past season, Pisa finished in 13th place in the Serie B standings.
Earlier reports indicated that the former Milan coach was close to taking a job with the club of Benzema and Kanté.
