PSG is set to offer Luis Enrique a new long-term deal.
Details: According to Le Parisien, even though the Spaniard's current contract runs until the summer of 2027, the Parisian management has already opened formal negotiations for an extension. Within the club, Enrique is regarded as the best coach in the world, especially after his triumphant 2025 season in which he led the team to six trophies, including the long-awaited Champions League title.
The coach himself feels completely at home in Paris and is fully immersed in the long-term project. The 55-year-old's entourage confirms that he is very happy at PSG. A key factor is his close working relationship with sporting director Luis Campos, whose contract has already been extended until 2030, as well as the unwavering trust from club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
For PSG, keeping Luis Enrique is an absolute priority. The club chief has repeatedly stated that appointing the Spaniard was the best decision of his entire presidency. While rumors of a "lifetime contract" have not been officially confirmed, the management is keen to give the coach the team for as long as possible to ensure stability and continue their dominance on the European stage.
It’s worth noting that, at the moment, PSG under Luis Enrique’s leadership is once again topping Ligue 1, two points clear of their closest rivals, Lens.
Reminder: PSG is trying to lure Marcus Rashford away from Barcelona.
