Ipswich Town are on the verge of officially appointing a new head coach.
Details: According to insider Fabrizio Romano, the English club’s management has all but finalized a deal to bring Gary O’Neil in as the team’s new manager.
All key terms between Ipswich and the coach have already been fully agreed. At this stage, the parties are ironing out the final formalities.
To make this move, O’Neil will soon end his stint with French outfit Strasbourg, where he was previously in charge. The return of the English manager to his homeland is seen by the Tractor Boys’ bosses as the perfect step to tackle their Premier League ambitions, with an official contract announcement expected in the coming days.
