Simon Adingra is not expected to stay at Monaco once his loan spell ends
He arrived last winter
The Ivory Coast international is expected to return to Sunderland and continue his career in the Premier League.
Having joined Monaco on loan from Sunderland last February, Simon Adingra will not be staying in Ligue 1 for next season. The French club has no plans to exercise the buy-out clause for the Ivorian winger, estimated at €15 million according to reports in Nice-Matin.
The Ivorian forward is therefore expected to return to Sunderland, where he is under contract until 2030. Since joining Monaco during the last winter transfer window, Simon Adingra has scored three goals and provided two assists in 14 Ligue 1 matches at the end of the 2025–2026 season.
