The clubs of Group E of the 2025 Copa Libertadores (Racing, Colo Colo, Fortaleza, and Atlético Bucaramanga) have confirmed an agreement to ensure the presence of visiting fans at all their matches, reported la Academia through its official channels

The joint decision, finalized during a presidents’ meeting Wednesday, ensures each club will allocate tickets for visiting supporters, though exact numbers remain undisclosed.

However, Racing’s first home game against Bucaramanga will be played behind closed doors due to a CONMEBOL sanction stemming from fireworks launched by their fans during the 2024 Copa Sudamericana semifinal against Corinthians.

The Argentine side, qualified as Sudamericana champions, faces a challenging group featuring Chilean giants Colo Colo and Brazilian newcomers Fortaleza.

While Racing must navigate their opener without home support, other matches will proceed with the agreed-upon away fan access. "This promotes unity, but we’re still paying for past mistakes," an internal club source noted.

Racing’s Libertadores campaign kicks off April 10 against Fortaleza in Brazil, where their traveling fans are expected to fill allocated sections under coordinated security measures.
